Mother Hylde, Herbwife, Maker, Healer
I am the sole proprietress of Mother Hylde who is the spirit behind my medicine making, my bodywork practice, and the folkwear I create. I live in a cabin that is situated on the northern hem of my family’s 8th generation farm which occupies unceded Lenape land. I am deeply rooted to my place here and have apprenticed myself to reconnecting to my own Celtic ancestral ways, weaving them into the stories of the land where I’m currently planted. It’s my passion to reconnect with and integrate these traditional and ritual methods of healing into our modern lives. I have been studying folk and clinical herbalism since 2012. I am also a licensed massage therapist and have been practicing intuitive bodywork since 2005.

As an herbalist, it is very obvious that you are very dedicated to the craft, are extremely knowledgeable and are constantly on the quest for additional knowledge, always evolving. You have opened my eyes to a whole new plant perspective. Also, when I have a malady, you are my go to in order to find out what the best holistic approach would be. I am a huge fan of your massage services. As an aging active athlete, I have found that visiting you regularly keeps my body much more pain free, limber and healthy. You give it your all for each session. You work well with problem areas and have a great rapport with me as to identifying the areas to focus on, even if I wasn’t aware that there was an issue. My general health has definitely improved since becoming a regular visitor.
